FAQ

Some of our client's most asked questions!

Regular waxing results in thinner, softer, and slower hair growth and prevents ingrown hairs.

Hair growth should be 4-5 weeks grown out from the last wax, trim, or shave. This allows better results with each service.

Exfoliate 2 to 4 times per week leading up to your appointment and taking a couple ibuprofen an hour before will surely prepare your skin and help with the pain. Make sure you are drinking lots of water so you come in well hydrated. Coming in hung over will be the least fun thing you do all week so do yourself a favor and skip waxing after a night of drinking.

Stimulants in your body (like caffeine) can cause skin to be extra sensitive to waxing. Give yourself a few hours after drinking coffee, alcohol, or other stimulants before getting waxed. Ideally 24 hours.

Absolutely, you might get to a point in your pregnancy when you just can’t maintain  your personal grooming. Let us help we will help you make you as comfortable as possible during your service. Some people expecting experience heightened paint sensitivity doing waxing due to hormonal changes, this is normal. Consult your physician for further questions before your wax.

Exfoliating 2-3 times a week helps remove dead skin and allows for a closer wax. This should be done with products, mitts, or a dry brush.

Using post-wax products will help prevent ingrown hairs. We carry a full range of products that help hydrate and promote healing skin between services.

Consistency with water and post wax products help hydrate the skin and allows for a more comfortable wax experience.

A facial is designed to cleanse, exfoliate and nourish the skin to help promote the collagen in your skin which helps with anti-aging, brightening , pigmentation, uneven texture and hydration.

Each facial appointment begins with a complementary skin care consultation focusing on your current health, activity level, diet and home care routine. Based off of the information we then can come up with the best facial for your skin care needs and concerns. Each facial is the same amount of time so no matter what facial you book we are able to customize and change products out to help with your needs.

My rule of thumb is once you’re at home skin care routine is “not working”anymore it is time to come in and get that deep clean. We recommend that you come every 4 to 6 weeks for ultimate results.

Absolutely facials are very beneficial for men. They can help reduce skin sensitivity from shaving as well as other concerns from lack of proper home skin care routine. If you do suffer from sensitivity after shaving it is recommended that you do not shave immediately before your facial, as this can lead to irritation.

Microdermabrasion is not the best treatment for active acne as the machine could open and spread the bacteria. Any areas on the skin that are broken and open are unable to receive this treatment.

Cold sores, warts and bacterial infection such as boils , styes and fungus infections.

As long as it is not an active flare up and the skin is not broken we are able to continue the treatment. If you have a flareup or the skin is broken it is best to reschedule until the skin is healed.
